Establishes innovative service collaboration between Njord Aquaservice and Remora Robotics
Njord Aquaservice, a subsidiary of Frøy Kapital, is now launching a new venture in the service boat industry with the concept “Clean Net Guarantee”. The technology represents a new product for the aquaculture industry, where autonomous brush robots make net cleaning more efficient, improve biosecurity, and contribute to better fish health and increased sustainability. The investment is based on the strategic partnership between Njord Aquaservice and Remora Robotics and gives the breeders a guaranteed clean net at a fixed monthly subscription price.
“Clean Net Guarantee is our first product solution in this context. This is more than a service – it’s a completely new way of thinking about farming, where technology, sustainability and fish health go hand in hand,” says general manager of Njord Aquaservice Anders Gåsø. “We have followed the development of autonomous washing robots closely for several years, and we now believe we have found the technology that is ripe for large-scale rollout.”
Svein Erik Gregersen, CEO of Remora Robotics, also emphasizes the advantages of the new collaboration:

Exciting growth opportunities through strategic investments
In addition to the strategic collaboration with Remora Robotics and the investments in Njord Aquaservice, Frøy Kapital has also invested in the Canadian service company NL Marine Services INC., which supplies service boat services to the aquaculture industry in Newfoundland. Former sales director at Frøy ASA, Andreas Krogstad, is employed as CEO of NL Marine Services, and will lead the development of the company in line with the industry’s growth in Eastern Canada. This strategic venture represents an exciting growth opportunity for both Njord Aquaservice and Frøy Kapital, and positions the companies for further expansion in a rapidly growing market, both nationally and internationally.
